ZF Aftermarket has launched ZF [pro]Service, a one-stop repair platform for commercial vehicle workshops.
The workshop concept is designed to prepare businesses are able to provide service support through ZF’s full product portfolio.
With effective and efficient workshop repairs relying on access to up-to-date repair and maintenance information (RMI), vehicle diagnostic data, training on new technologies and more, the ZF [pro]Service brings together the former ZF Service Point and WABCO Service Partner programs in a unified platform that delivers end-to-end support for commercial workshop managers.
Backed by comprehensive technical support and training from ZF, [pro]Service workshop partners will be able to access the ZF aftermarket product portfolio through ZF’s distribution partners across Australia.
The ZF [pro]Service program includes dedicated service modules for trucks, buses, and trailers, with a focus on WABCO brake systems and ZF driveline technology.
It also provides support for a wide range of steering, suspension, shock absorbers, clutches, and brake pads offered under ZF’s premium brands: Lemförder, Sachs and TRW.
“With ZF [pro]Service, ZF is empowering commercial vehicle workshops to prepare for the future,” said ZF Head of Sales CV AM and OE Trailer Oceania, Damon Baffico.
“From a single source, workshops can now have access to the complete ZF range, diagnostics, training, and technical support to enable them to maximise uptime.”
A key feature of ZF [pro]Service is its comprehensive training program, available as in-person or online sessions that are designed for workshop employees, managers, and owners.
The training is designed to equip the personnel and workshops with the knowledge, skills and confidence to become experts, and best-in-class service and repair locations for the ZF product range.
“By attending training sessions, our partners will have the best access to ZF technical information and parts, equipping them to service the full ZF product portfolio – a clear competitive advantage in the fleet business,” said Damon Baffico.
Technical support is also provided with ZF [pro]Service partners having direct contact with ZF Aftermarket specialists, access to technical data and repair information, as well as service information from vehicle manufacturers, and support with vehicle diagnostics.
Workshops are also authorised to carry out warranty work on ZF components, while ZF also supports its partners with retrofit solutions – whether connectivity solutions for trailers or cornering assistance.
Many ZF technologies can be retrofitted to existing vehicles opening new sales potential for commercial vehicle companies.
Globally, the ZF [pro]Service network comprises now over 3,300 partners and continues to grow.
In Australia, over 30 [pro]Service partners are already part of the network, with more workshops expressing interest in joining the programme.
