Sydney-based waste management, company, Bingo Group, has added two new Isuzu FYJ 2000 8×4 trucks fitted with hook lift bodies to its fleet of over 60 trucks.
Established in 2006, the Bingo Group is offering a range of waste management services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in metropolitan Sydney.
The company began operations with just four trucks and 100 bins and has grown substantially in the last eight years, transforming from a small skip bin hire company into a waste management specialist.
Today, the company has a fleet of over 60 trucks, including 45 Isuzus, approximately 4,000 bins and 110 staff.
“Our Isuzu trucks are used to deliver and pick up our bins from customers. They are used six days a week and travel approximately 50,000 kilometres a year. To date, we have not replaced any of our Isuzus – the oldest is a 2007 model which is still in good condition,” said Bingo Group’s Internal Sales and Marketing Manager, Sargon Raoul.
“Our trucks are required to operate in rough conditions, such as in and out of construction sites and navigating areas with tight access. In most cases they handle these conditions well.
“The FYJ was recommended to us and the decision has worked well. We didn’t have any reservations when purchasing this model even though it is relatively new to the Isuzu line-up. We knew it would be very good and we love it.”
