Wash It Australia launches campaign for cancer awareness

Truck washing expert, Wash It Australia, has embarked on an awareness campaign with trucks highlighting the need for women and men to undergo checks for breast and prostate cancer.

“When you consider the fact we live in an age of technology but cannot deliver a cure for cancer it is important we lend a hand in whatever way possible,” said Ben Hennock, Director, Wash It Australia.

“Most people have been touched by the disease yet there are many who have not made the important decision to have tests carried out, particularly men for prostate cancer, and it is hoped our trucks raise awareness and encourage people of young age to do so.

“Awareness it vital and the trucks convey that message, plus research is expensive, every aspect of that costs money, and we are committed to giving a helping hand,” he said.

The growing truck wash company, which now operates nationally, will not only promote the fact testing for cancer can be a life saver but will also donate a percentage of profits to help with research.
