The developing Victorian town of Warrnambool has welcomed Barry Maney Group to open the area’s first new truck dealership. The store officially opened for business on November 18 with about 150 guests inspecting the new facility, which encompasses spare parts and truck sales offices as well as a showroom.
The new dealership is situated on the main road through Warrnambool on Raglan Parade, which is part of the Princes Highway. Warrnambool is located on Victoria’s famous ‘Shipwreck Coast’ about halfway between Melbourne and Mount Gambier (SA), where the Barry Maney Group is based.
Barry Maney Group director and truck sales manager Jim Cornolo underlined that there had never been a dedicated new truck dealership in the prospering region. “We saw a need to provide a higher level of customer service for truck sales and parts in the Warrnambool region. And the people appreciate having a truck dealership for the first time.” Dedicated to support the Warrnambool community, Barry Maney solely employs locals to fulfil truck and parts sales roles.
“Not only will we be able to better service our existing clientele, but we believe our presence will create incremental sales business, so it should be good for us and the businesses in the region.”
