The Victoriann Transport Association (VTA) has unveiled the programme for the 2012 State Conference, which will take place at the Novotel Forest Resort Creswick near Ballarat in May. This year's Conference will focus on productivity, profitability, safety and compliance.
The State Conference is designed as a 'working conference' to help businesses implement new strategies to address these issues, according to the VTA.
Day one will focus on improving productivity and profitability including case studies on what customers want, transport operator success stories and business structures for the future. The Afternoon will feature the popular safety session including an interactive panel session of Industry and Enforcement agencies discussing all the latest safety issues.
Day Two will feature a specific stream for the VWMA to discuss waste, recycling, carbon cost impacts and waste regulations, while a second stream will focus on future logistics solutions and freight transport issues.
“The VTA State Conference affords you excellent networking and social engagement opportunities,” says VTA President, Paul Freestone. “The Conference allows you to mix with a diverse range of industry and government representatives – the ongoing benefits to you and to your business can be incalculable.”
