Volvo wins multiple awards for Epic Split ad campaign

Volvo Trucks has won an impressive nine awards at The One Show, an international awards ceremony for advertising recently held in New York.

Volvo Trucks' Live Test online ad campaign swept The One Show, winning nine ‘Pencil' awards – including the ‘Best in Show’ prize for the Epic Split ad campaign starring action movie star, Jean-Claude Van Damme.

“The One Show's awards are among the highest honours in advertising. It feels especially rewarding that a B2B campaign continues to win advertising prizes in one competition after another,” said Per Nilsson, Director Public Relations at Volvo Trucks.

“Our surveys show that almost half the truck buyers who have seen the live test films indicate they would be more likely to choose a Volvo the next time they buy a new truck. For us this is another strong sign that the campaign has been successful.”

In addition to Best in Show, Volvo Trucks also took home the award for Client of the Year. The Live Test campaign features six videos that demonstrate innovative features in Volvo Trucks' new truck series. The films collectively have been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube.
