To publicise the toughness of the new Volvo FMX range, Volvo Group President Claes Nilsson was involved in a stunt over Gothenburg Harbour, which was filmed via a helicopter.
A new YouTube clip featuring Nilsson, shows some spectacular stunt work.
Volvo Australia is yet to decide when these trucks will be released into the local market. The FMX is a model range specifically set-up for vocational work in the construction and quarry industries.
The FMX is available here in a number of options with day cab, sleeper and Globetrotter available. Engines can be either 11 or 13 litre from 330 to 500 hp in a 6×4 or 8×4 configuration. Gearboxes can be manual, AMT or full auto and there is also a choice of single reduction and hub reduction axles.
