Twin City Truck Centre takes accolades

Based in Wodonga, Twin City Truck Centre is one of Australia’s largest and most successful regional truck dealers and has just been presented with the 2010 Kenworth Dealer of the Year award.

This is the fifth time the dealership has won the award which is highly regarded within the industry and open to Kenworth dealers throughout Australasia.

The award is judged on a points system across five main areas, including general dealership performance, truck sales, customer service, finance and parts support.

PACCAR Australia’s Managing Director, Joe Rizzo, congratulated Twin City’s co-owners, Dealer Principal Chris Dziedzic and Sales Manager Neville Farrugia at a PACCAR Dealer Awards dinner last week at the Sebel Heritage in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley.

“Twin City has been named Kenworth Dealer of the Year five times, and it has been a strong performer for more than three decades. That’s a remarkable achievement. It says a lot about the dealership, its staff and their ongoing commitment,” Mr Rizzo said.

“The fact that Chris and Neville won our most distinguished award, after managing the dealership for just 18 months, is testament to their business acumen and integrity – and, most importantly, their professional approach to customer service,” he said

Mr Dziedzic commented, “We are delighted to win the Kenworth Dealer of the Year award – this is the gold standard in the industry. This was our goal when we took over the dealership – we just didn’t expect it so soon. No one person is responsible for winning. It’s truly a team effort. We are very proud of everyone at Twin City for making this possible.

Mr Farrugia added, “Twin City has been an outstanding dealership for many years. What we have brought is a fresh approach to doing business – to make it even more efficient and effective. Our staff are well trained to assist customers in all areas. They understand that customers are our business. In fact we have a slogan – ‘gottaluvtrucks’ – and that’s the ethos behind everything we do.”
