TruckSafe welcomes two new members

Queensland freight company, Australian Heavy Logistics, and New South Wales based Macquarie Valley Transport, have joined TruckSafe, the industry’s safety accreditation program.

TruckSafe Chairman, Stephen Marley, said he was pleased to welcome the new members to TruckSafe, becoming some of Australia’s safest trucking operators.

“TruckSafe is dedicated to assisting trucking operators to provide safe and professional service to their customers and the community at large,” he said. “Joining TruckSafe is an action that benefits the operator, their staff and the community. I’d like to congratulate Macquarie Valley Transport and Australian Heavy Logistics on welcoming 2013 as TruckSafe accredited members.”

According to Australian Heavy Logistics Managing Director, Chris Miers, TruckSafe accreditation was the natural progression in their continued efforts to honour their core business values in providing heavy logistics services to the oil, gas and mining industries, as well as undertaking major project work throughout Australia.

“Our specialist staff pride ourselves in our uncompromising dedication to safety, the highest quality equipment, accountability for our actions and service, and integrity in our dealings with all. TruckSafe provides us with guidance on how to improve our performance even further into the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Lea Munro, owners of Macquarie Valley Transport, said the company aims to improve their productivity with the benefits of TruckSafe’s fleet management protocols.
