Truck Moves Australia continues to flex its expanded value offering on a national scale.

The heavy vehicle-moving specialist has been diligently servicing transport dealers, fleet managers and a flurry of others for the past 37 years, and has also used this time to grow its services for a wider range of customers. In addition to truck relocations, Truck Moves Australia recently established a digital truck registration service via a new website.

Although the company has already been handling registrations for quite some time, recent efforts to streamline this process are now delivering a new wave of efficiencies for its clients, according to Truck Moves Australian General Manager, John Bradac.

“We have always done regos for our customers, but a few years ago we specifically assigned full-time managers to push into the space we could see as fragmented and frustrating for dealers and fleet managers,” he said.

“This push made sense. We were already moving the trucks, often taking them over the weigh bridge and getting small things done on the way to rego, and customers already treated us with their vehicle. So we thought, ‘why not save them the time, hassle and money and register it during the handover?’ It makes one easy invoice for the customer.”

This new endeavour has proven extremely popular with Truck Moves Australia’s customer base – filling a significant gap in the market between sellers and buyers – driving exponential growth and positive feedback across the company’s national presence.

“Our customers absolutely love it,” said Bradac.

“We have been able to show them that we’re reliable and fast. What used to take weeks for dealers to organise interstate, we can complete in a few days. Customers are happy and dealers make more sales — it’s a win-win.”

As part of this expansion of its services, Truck Moves Australia often engages with every step of the transport supply chain as the company is capable of taking on larger and longer delivery orders for bigger customers.

These orders can sometimes require heavy vehicles to be moved to an array of locations across the country before arriving at the end-customer.

“We’ll often move a new vehicle six or more times for multiple customers before it is finally deployed.” said Bradac.

“This is especially true with the home delivery fleets for Woolworths and Coles, when those companies first broke into that market in a serious way.

“Each fleet started with a base of 350 vehicles. We moved each one about six times, from a cab chassis out of storage, to the body builder, then to get the decals, then to get safety features installed, and then to complete registration for the handover.

“It was a big program which ran for many months and created about 4,200 vehicle moves, which would have been impossible for them to do internally. So they called the experts — us.”

As the market leader, Truck Moves Australia’s operations boast a wealth of advantages which separate them from that of the company’s competition.

Network scale, which made its Woolworths and Coles jobs possible, is what Bradac considers to be one of the company’s superpowers.

Additionally, Truck Moves Australia places heavy emphasis on safe practice, full insurance coverage and driver management systems which ensure a secure job is done every time. The company also prides itself on the speed and efficiency of its service, as Truck Moves Australia works as an express provider.

“You call, we answer,” said Bradac. “Our highly expert team is spread across the country in all capital cities to get the job done. It is not uncommon for us to complete more than 1,000 new truck deliveries each week.”

This commitment made by the entire Truck Moves Australia team has built a great camaraderie within the company — an element of the work that makes the wins that much sweeter to Bradac.

“We have a great team of people, and many have been with us for over a decade, so the culture is very rewarding,” he said.

“I feel like this bleeds into the feedback we get from our customers. Every week someone writes to us with a testimonial about how we made things easier for them or saved the day with a truck movement to a customer.”
