By integrating recent acquisitions into a single entity, Toll Global Logistics has created a single division of the group, based in China. The headquarters of the new organisation will be situated in Shanghai.
Until now, Toll’s operations in China have operated as a joint venture with ST Anda. Earlier this year the company acquired all ownership of the venture and now operates 23 logistics facilities and over 20 distribution centres serving 1600 cities across China.
“We are delighted to have completed the integration of ST Anda and to strengthen Toll’s network in China,” said Toll Group Managing Director, Paul Little. “China is one of the world’s most important growth engines and demand for consumer products domestically and internationally is an important part of that expansion.”
