TFMXpress new depot to enable earlier truck movements

National door-to-door priority express carrier, TFMXpress, has announced the expansion of its facilities.

The company, which is based in Hobsons Bay City in Melbourne’s southwest, has recently announced a new, larger branch depot located in Brisbane.

In a statement issued online, TFMXpress said the larger facility will enable it to increase efficiency and safer processes which includes earlier on-road deployment of its trucks for deliveries in the mornings.

Managing Director Rodney Johnston, formerly the Executive General Manager at Toll IPEC, said the new depot was reward for the tremendous work contributed by the Brisbane team.

“[They have] helped us to continue to grow and invest in Queensland which is hugely important in the ongoing success of the TFMX business nationally,” he said.

The privately owned and operated company operates a mixed heavy fleet that includes DAF, MAN and IVECO prime movers and Hyundai vans for courier work.

The TFMXpress executive team includes Pat Kearns, Management Board, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Frank Ainalis.
