Terrex Seismic take hold of Isuzu range

Perth-based seismic solutions provider, Terrex Seismic, has taken hold of the F-Series Isuzu trucks to bolster over half its fleet. The company uses the vehicles to cart tools and machinery to job sites around Australia.

According to Terrex Seismic Operations Manager, Shane Goossens, of the company's fleet of thirty trucks, over half are Isuzu.
”All of our trucks have various uses,” hesaid. “Some of our fleet are field service trucks and camp supply trucks and others are used to move equipment between sites.

“We use our trucks in all conditions imaginable, from sealed roads to uncleared desert and sand dunes.”

With such trying conditions to negotiate, it's important that Terrex chooses the correct vehicles to join its fleet – in this regard the Isuzu range has been the right decision.” The company's fleet consists of models ranging from the FRR 600 up to the FVL 1400 along with the rugged 4×4 FTS models.

Terrex project manages its clients' resources exploration requirements, whether it's oil and gas exploration and development, coal and minerals operations or underground carbon storage. The company also provides surface and below surface earth imaging. With headquarters in Perth, Terrex Seismic serves clients in all areas of the country and overseas. The company's operations centre in Brisbane sees staff currently taking on jobs in the Bowen and Surat Basins and all along the Queensland coast.

According to Shane, when in the market for a new truck, Terrex looks for four-wheel drive capability, reliability and compatibility with the company's current fleet. “We have been using Isuzu trucks for the past 15 years and lately we have been buying approximately four trucks each year. When the need to expand our fleet arises we will be purchasing more Isuzus.”
