Haweka Australia has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand for the patented TAC-Scan tread measurement system which is designed to reduce fuel costs and your carbon footprint.

Designed with Truck Fleet Managers and Transport Operators in mind, TAC-Scan delivers fast, laser precise measurements of tyre tread depth to an accuracy of 0.1mm.

Unique laser technology scans the tyre, producing an accurate report in a matter of seconds. Picking up alignment and inflation issues as it goes, the easy to use software lets you print a report from the scanner itself or take the captured data back to the office via a memory stick. From there it is your choice how to use data on an individual vehicle or an entire fleet.

Haweka understands the logistical complexities of managing vehicles in multiple locations, the need to track individual vehicle histories and the importance of up to date, efficient fleet records – and the TAC-Scan has been designed to be versatile and relevant.

TAC-Scan’s unique design allows users to quickly and easily measure the tread depth and alignment issues of all tyres on a vehicle – even tricky inside tyres are effortlessly accessed for measurement.

The easy to use, visual display instructions in the handset are set up for all axle types and will lead you round the vehicle, scanning wheel by wheel. TAC-Scan can also measure tyre pressure, using a high quality, digital pressure gauge.

After efficiently scanning tyres, TAC-Scan allows you to print an immediate action report from its integral thermal printer, or upload your data via its USB memory stick. Once data is uploaded, the sophisticated Diagnostic Software allows you to create a fleet action report, fleet summary report, or a vehicle-by-vehicle report.

The vehicle-by-vehicle report includes diagnostic analysis and, like the other reports, can be customised to suit your requirements. As well as the efficient, computerised creation of a fleet tyre audit, the TAC-Scan software is also a useful, longer term tool for data analysis, procurement budgeting and customer relations.

For further information on the TAC-Scan, contact Haweka on (08) 9249 4799 or email info@haweka.com.au.
