Skyroad Logistics recently took delivery of its first Kenworth T909, which makes a prominent and striking addition to the company’s fleet of K200 cab-overs. The prime mover features an Aero roof 50″ IT sleeper cab, Cummins Euro 6 Performance Series X15 engine and Eaton 18-speed manual transmission.
It will be coupled with a special 50th anniversary 53’ drop deck trailer fitted with air roller floor and a Thermo King A500 refrigeration unit.
The unit will be kept busy in Skyroad’s road feeder service network, primarily running between Sydney and Brisbane.
Customisations include headlights converted to the older square style, sleek custom bonnet and grille, bespoke fuel tanks, guards, deck plates and rear bar.
The unit pays tribute to Kenworth’s 50 years of manufacturing in Australia with custom KW-50 plates and gold livery.
