South Australian logistics operator, Samra Transport Services, will transition to National Supply Chain & Logistics from 1 July 2026, trading as Cold Link Australia and Road Link Australia.
The restructure will see the business split into two specialist divisions focused on refrigerated and ambient freight operations.
Cold Link Australia will provide end-to-end refrigerated supply chain solutions, including temperature-controlled transport, warehousing and distribution services across Australia.
Road Link Australia will focus on ambient transport, warehousing and general freight solutions with nationwide coverage.
“This evolution reflects our continued investment in people, infrastructure, technology and fleet while maintaining the safety, reliability and service excellence that have built our reputation,” said Samra Transport Services CEO, Carmine Del Giacco.
As part of the expansion, the company’s new Cold Link Australia Central Hub in Cavan, South Australia, is scheduled to be commissioned on 1 August 2026.
The facility is expected to strengthen the business’ cold chain capabilities and support future growth across the national refrigerated logistics sector.
Further details about the site are expected to be released closer to the commissioning date.
Meanwhile, the company’s existing 22,000-square-metre Regency Park depot will continue operating as a key support facility for Road Link Australia’s ambient freight and warehousing operations.
Del Giacco along with the Managing Director, Amrit Samra, thanked employees, customers and industry partners for their ongoing support during the transition.
