South Australian excavation and industrial bin hire company, Raymar Hire, has taken delivery of a new Isuzu FYJ 2000 8×4 truck.
According to Owner, Ray Engles, the Isuzu FYJ 2000 8×4 truck, which is equipped with a 25 tonne Hiab Multilift LHZ, will be used for its daily runs delivering large bins and transporting excavation equipment. Functioning similar to a tipper, the hook lift bin truck body allows Engles to put bins on the ground and drive his excavator out the back of the truck.
“This set up is much more convenient and efficient. It’s also easier on my body and I can get home earlier at the end of the day – I’m off the job in just ten minutes. I don’t need to put ramps down, I just drive the machines straight into the back of the bin and go,” Engles said.
“The FYJ 2000 8×4 is nine metres long and very manoeuvrable. It’s much easier than driving and navigating a truck and trailer set-up around a job site. The truck is very well balanced for the 5 to 7.5 metre bins that fit so well on the back.”
