Qube Logistics is building a 10,000-square-metre insulated and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) risk management system accredited warehouse in Outer Harbor, South Australia.
Situated directly adjacent to the Port of Adelaide container terminal, the facility will reportedly feature eight container packing and unpacking doors plus an enclosed breezeway for protected freight loading and unloading.
The warehouse will also have onsite customs and DAWR processing.
The facility is located within the Qube Logistics Adelaide freight precinct incorporating full container and empty container depots.
The new warehouse, according to Qube, will provide significant opportunities for efficient freight handling particularly for customers importing and exporting in the food and beverage sector.
The project is due to be completed November 2019.
