Import-export logistics provider, Qube Holdings has celebrated the recent performance of its off-road operations team in Central Queensland.
The company revealed that over the past three months, the CQ team has consistently moved more than 1.2 million tonnes of coal per month at the Jellinbah and Yarrabee mines in Blackwater, as part of its haulage contract.
For FY26, the team achieved a 10 million tonne milestone, using Mack Trident and Kenworth C509 tri-drive prime movers with Smith and Lusty “C Train” trailer combinations.
Qube hauls processed coal from wash plants for both Jellinbah and Yarrabee Mines to the Boonal TLO, and also hauls unprocessed material for Jellinbah Mine from rom locations to wash plants for processing.
It operates high-capacity combinations of up to 320 tonnes GCM, following a series of successful payload uplift initiatives as part of its continuous improvement program.
With the company operating as a 24/7 operation, 364 days per year, it is a feat that has not been achieved in the 40-plus years the mines have been operating, Qube said.

The company currently employs 108 personnel across the project, covering operational, maintenance, administrative, safety and compliance, and site management functions.
Qube operates a workshop and operational offices at the Jellinbah South mine site, from which services are provided to both the Jellinbah and Yarrabee mines.
