The Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) celebrated outstanding achievement and contributions to the industry at its recent 2025 Road Freight Industry Awards.
Recognised as Queensland transport’s gala event of the year, the awards brought together industry and government leaders, fleet owners and suppliers to celebrate excellence, innovation, and dedication across the state’s road freight transport sector.
The 2025 QTA Road Freight Industry Award winners are:
- Training and Skilling Excellence: Wickham Freight Lines
- Health and Wellbeing Excellence: Sandra Wallace, Frasers Livestock Transport
- Trucking Woman of the Year: Sue Wilson, Willows Bitumen Haulage
- Young Achiever of the Year: Nathan Daley, Harvey’s Towing Service
- Professional Driver of the Year: Marcus Koitka, Blenners Transport and Andrew Foster, IOR (joint award)
- Industry Excellence: Jodie Jarratt, Jarratt Transport Solutions.
Jodie Jarratt was awarded the Industry Excellence Award, being only the second woman in 35 years to win this recognition.
QTA CEO Gary Mahon said the awards showcased the talent, dedication and innovation that drives the industry forward.
“We are proud to celebrate your achievements and look forward to supporting your continued success,” he said.
The QTA’s annual industry awards, hosted by QTA Ltd President, Michael Mahon, and the Board of Directors, recognise and honour the outstanding individuals, businesses and initiatives that make up and shape the road freight industry in Queensland.
The event attracts more than 450 industry leaders, fleet owners, employees, manufacturers, suppliers, and government representatives each year.
