Countless trucks have been left stranded in Queensland as a result of the devastating floods which have affected much of the state. This is expected to cost the industry millions of dollars.
Many of the major highways including the Bruce Highway, Cunningham Highway, Ipswich Motorway, Warrego Highway and the New England Highway have been affected as road closures begin to take over countless routes throughout Queensland. A full list of road closures can be found at the Traffic and Travel Information website.
Authorities have warned commuters not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
