Reports in the business press suggest Qantas is considering selling its stake in Star Track Express and Australian Air Express to its partner in these enterprises, Australia Post. The reports suggest the two express parcel and delivery operations have failed to live up to Qantas’ expectations. Faced with declining sales in their main airline business, Qantas is said to be uneasy about tying up the over $300 million which is their stake in the two joint ventures.
