The Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal (RSRT) has invited proposed road safety remuneration orders (RSRO), and the assumptions on which they are based, on payments for road transport drivers and associated issues.
One of the proposals that has been submitted recommends the use of a safe rates calculator available on the internet by Freight Metrics which incorporates the fuel levy in the final cost for everyone to use.
“It is simple – put in the figure that represents your vehicle or business and it will show the true cost you should be getting,” stated the proposal.
Proposed orders from parties on payments for road transport drivers and related issues are now available on the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal’s website.
