Peter Shields – Senior Features Writer at Prime Mover – reflects on his experience at this year’s Japan Mobility Show.
In conversation with Simon Smith at Australian Truck Radio, Shields touches on the latest truck technologies, industry developments and collaboration between manufacturers.
The paradigm, according to Shields, has shifted. What was once a horsepower race is now a keen focus on what the heavy vehicle range is along with the charging rates.
The event, organised by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, was held 26 October to 5 November at Tokyo Big Sight in the Ariake district.
Soon Prime Mover will publish its latest report of the Japan Mobility Show as part of the December edition.
