Planning is underway for the Victorian Transport Association (VTA)’s 2025 State Conference.
This year’s event will address productivity challenges within the country’s transport industry while also emphasising road safety.
The annual conference serves as a unique opportunity for attendees to gain invaluable insight into the latest conversations, connect with industry leaders, and learn about new strategies and developments of the commercial transport sector.
VTA CEO, Peter Anderson, expressed the importance of the conference as a means to solve real issues threatening the industry.
“Australia’s transport industry is the lynchpin of our national economy, moving goods efficiently across the country and keeping supply chains intact,” he said.
“However, we face increasing productivity challenges that threaten sustainability, profitability, and our ability to meet the demands of a growing economy.
“VTA State Conference 2025 will bring together industry experts to help operators address these challenges and explore new solutions.”
Much of the conference’s discussions will revolve around the balance between adhering to industry-wide safety regulations and implementing them in a way that does not harm operational efficiency.
Event packages and registry are available online at the VTA’s website.
