The Perth Truck Show will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 July. With all exhibition space now sold, and all major brands on display, the 2011 event is to be the largest in the show’s history.
Spread across six pavilions, the show will feature a wide range of new trucks, trailers and equipment.
Although the show already attracts those in the market for transport equipment, organisers have said there will be something for the whole family. Amongst the attractions will be the Disney Pixar “Mack the Transporter” display. To celebrate the launch of the new Disney Pixar movie Cars 2, a replica of the Mack truck featured in the film will be on display and will feature a broad range of children’s activities.
“Mack the Transporter” will be at the show on the Saturday and Sunday.
As part of the Perth Truck and Trailer Show, the Scania Cocktail Party and the Gala Dinner Night of the Stars will also take place during the course of the show.
The Gala Dinner will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 30 July 2011. Early in the evening, guests will be entertained with hits from Broadway and the West End performed by some of Australia’s most successful concert and corporate entertainers. The evening will also feature music by one of Perth’s best jazz/swing bands, Speak Easy. Tickets for the gala dinner are $150 per person.
