Paccar launches MX-13 engine for Kenworth trucks

Paccar Australia has officially launched the MX-13 heavy-duty engine in Kenworth trucks.

“After comprehensive testing on the MX-13, 1.6 million kilometres on the road, 18 months in the field, the engine (which has been used in DAF trucks since 2007) has finally made its way into the Kenworth product,” Paccar said, revealing the 13-litre engine offers a specification that is ideal for fuel tanker operations and grain operations.

The MX-13 has been fitted to Kenworth’s T4 series trucks, specifically to the T409 and T409SAR models, which will be on display this week at the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show in Melbourne.
