NTI, Australia’s largest truck insurer, has experienced continual growth and is now based on level 29 at 400 George Street, Brisbane, following many years at Springwood to the south of the city. The new headquarters sees all staff based on one level as opposed to three floors of the building previously occupied.
The new open plan offices boast the latest technology available including a wireless phone system operating through headsets not requiring handpieces, state-of-the-art computers and high levels of security.
The entire office complex has been designed with the accent on road transport with meeting rooms named after major highways, a truck graphics on walls and even a ‘truckstop’ area where customers can meet for coffee and discuss their insurance needs.
The reception desk features a sea container design and the major entry area features a wall of fame tracing NTI’s history and achievements with an impressive display of memorabilia.
According to NTI Chief Executive Officer, Tony Clark, the new headquarters meets stringent requirements of the industry staff, resulting in a very practical design for peak efficiency and future company growth.
“These new offices reflect the requirements of our professional people who serve the road transport industry,” Tony said at the opening. “It has been designed to better service our customers and the real aim is to keep them in business, that’s what it is all about, and the facilities will contribute greatly to that.”
The opening saw a number of invited guests with a long association to the company, including Robert Smith, who along with wife Gwen formed R&G Insurance Insurance Consultants, forerunner of NTI, in 1971. Also on the guest list were representatives from major partners, directors and heads of industry associations such as Bernie Belacic, CEO of NatRoad, and Stuart St Clair, ATA CEO, and Owen and Liz Schmidt representing livestock transporters.
NTI is Australia’s largest truck insurer with offices across Australia and in New Zealand. The company offers specialised transport insurance to suit all requirements, from a single unit to large fleets, tailoring cover in any application. The new Brisbane headquarters is now open for business and are well worth a visit.
