NSW Government support program for small and medium fleets

The NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) is running a free program to assist small to medium fleet operators in the Illawarra or Shoalhaven regions to improve fleet efficiency, minimise fuel costs and save money, all while helping the environment.

“OEH is inviting you to attend a short session (approx. 2 hours) to be held on Wednesday, 5 February 2014, which will provide details on how the program will assist your business to reduce operating costs and emissions,” said Project Officer, Peter Butler.

The program is open to transport business that run 5-50 vehicles over 4.5 tonnes in the Illawarra or Shoalhaven regions.

“Once we have enough interested operators, we will provide final details on the time and venue. This program is voluntary and free.”

According to Peter, a OEH contractor will work one-on-one with every business to develop a practical fleet improvement plan and actions tailored for each individual business.

To register your interest, or find out more about the program, contact Peter Butler on 02 4221 6903 or peter.butler@environment.nsw.gov.au by Friday, 24 January 2014.
