Dubbo-based Central West Linemarking has recently taken delivery of a new Isuzu FYJ 2000 8×4 to transport linemarking supplies to service the company’s traffic control unit.
“We’ve had a total of seven Isuzus over the years and there’s been no issue with any of them whatsoever,” said Central West Linemarking owner, Adam Walker.
“We’re happy that Isuzu has released a heavy duty 8×4 model range … the FYJ 2000 is perfect for our needs, especially when it comes to carrying capacity. The truck has a 30,000 kg GVM, which comes in very handy.
“Furthermore, even though the FYJ 2000 has a bigger engine – a SiTEC Series III 350 – the fuel consumption is still very similar to the FVM 1400.”
