One of the biggest achievements for people suffering injuries at work is getting back to work after they recovered.
The ‘Return to Work’ Awards therefore celebrate injured workers who have proudly achieved their goals, case managers who truly care, employers committed to positive return to work culture, health providers that innovate, and rehab coordinators who go the extra mile.
To be held in Brisbane in October, the 2014 Awards Show will again showcase successes in rehabilitation and return to work, with five categories recognising everyone involved in returning injured workers to work.
Judges may also present the Return to Work Innovation Award. This award may be chosen from the pool of nominees in the above categories in recognition of an innovation in rehabilitation and return to work practices that has demonstrated improvements in outcomes for injured workers, business and/or the workers' compensation industry.
In 2013, eight winners won some $10,000 prize money, sharing their initiatives and experiences with the industry at the Award ceremony in Brisbane.
Nominations for the 2014 Awards are now open.
