The Western Australian Government has announced changes to the State Cabinet after the resignation of Troy Buswell as Treasurer and Minister for Transport.
Alfred Cove MLA Dean Nalder will be elevated to State Cabinet as the Minister for Transport and Finance.
Energy Minister Mike Nahan will now become Treasurer and retain Energy and Citizenship and Multicultural Interests.
“Troy Buswell served the Liberal National Government very well and we will miss his intellect and his capacity for hard work,” Mr Barnett said.
“I thank him for his enormous contribution to the State and wish him all the best for the future.
“However, I am very pleased to welcome Dean Nalder to the frontbench and believe he will be a great asset to the Cabinet and a very good Minister.”
