New short courses from VTA Academy

Since being launched in 2012, the VTA Academy has introduced a number of courses aimed specifically at the transport and logistics industry. The Academy, a joint venture between the Victorian Transport Association and the Mint Group, has developed a suite of courses to help the transport industry with staffing solutions, accredited workplace training and career development.

The number of courses continues to grow and the VTA Academy has announced a number of new short courses available in the coming months. These include load restraint and chain of responsibility awareness courses in June and July, applying fatigue management in July and August, and administering fatigue management in June and September.

The wide range of short courses available apply to many of the requirements of the transport and logistics industry, covering occupational health and safety, heavy vehicle licensing, high risk work as well as the five core transport and logistics courses.
