New MAN video shows LinCon team at work in Sydney

MAN has just completed the latest instalment in a series of videos to depict the day-to-day life of people in Australia's road transport industry.

The latest video features Brisbane's LinCon Hire facilitating the fitment of aluminium panels to the side of a University of Sydney building in the inner Sydney suburb of Ultimo.

To get the job done, the LinCon team chooses an MAN TGS 41.480 8×8 model, which is fitted with a platform and tower that can extend up to 70m.

The TGS can also boast a 480hp MAN D26 engine fitted with Common Rail injection, turbocharging and intercooling mated to MAN’s 12 speed TipMatic gearbox. A two speed transfer case is standard with permanent drive to front and rear axles.

“We believe these videos are an excellent way to interact with our customers to showcase the extensive product range and the trucks’ capabilities. We plan to produce more videos in the future, with an emphasis on detailing how MAN has helped our customers’ businesses evolve,” said MAN's General Manager – Marketing, Cris Gillespie.
