On Friday, 2 December, a new Kalari depot in Rockingham, Western Australia will be opened by the City of Rockingham Deputy Mayor, Deb Hamblin and Swire Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bill Rothery, during an official opening ceremony.
The new depot is situated on 2.55 hectares and includes a new 1320 square metre workshop and a 300 square metre administration building.
“This new development underpins our strategic growth in Western Australia, and we are happy to continue our role as a quality employer in the Rockingham region. The project is part of the company’s vision to maintain a strong presence in the west, and extends our reach in the mining and resources sector,” said Kalari Managing Director, Greg Holt.
The site is shared with heritage listed Hymus House, a local historic landmark. The building was fully restored during the development of the new site.
