Hino will be displaying its new Euro 5 500 and 700 Series trucks which were launched earlier this year, along with a number of pre-release models at the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show. This year’s show takes place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from Thursday 5 May until Sunday 8 May.
The company has revealed that the FE and the GH, both new models to the 500 Series range, are amongst the vehicles that will be on display during the show.
The FE, which replaces the GD, is available in both 12,000kg and 14,000kg GVM ratings.
The new FE models feature 19.5” wheel rims and low-profile tyres to achieve the low chassis frame height required by many operators for better loading access, and to meet occupational health and safety requirements.
The latest model added to the popular GH 17,000kg GVM range features a short wheelbase (3,760mm), making it well suited to lightweight applications.
According to Hino Australia’s divisional manager of Product Strategy and Development, Alex Stewart, Hino will also have a number of surprises in store for showgoers.
“We have two special exhibits which we will unveil at the show,” he said. “Both of them have some really exciting features and technology, and both will be heading to Australia in the near future.
“It’s a privilege to be able to bring exciting future product to Australia, and to be able to show the public the future of Hino in Australia.”
