New CEO and President for MTU Detroit Diesel Australia

Following the retirement of Douglas Seneshen as President and CEO of MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, the company’s board of directors have announced that Robert Sisk has taken over the role as of 15 February.

Mr Seneshen has led MTU Detroit Diesel Australia for the past ten years. “The Board of Directors tremendously appreciate his leadership, drive and commitment to position MTU Detroit Diesel Australia as a leading distributor for both on and off highway diesel engines, components and services in the Australia/Pacific region,” said Tognum Board of Management’s, Joachim Coers.

MTU Detroit Diesel Australia has also said it is pleased to have an experienced successor in Mr
Sisk, who joins the company form the United States, where he worked for Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison, Detroit Diesel Corporation in Michigan, Penske Corporation and United Technologies. His most recent role was as Senior Vice President for Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison, where he was responsible for the off highway engine business and the operational responsibility for on and off highway branch locations. 

“Mr Sisk has a comprehensive understanding of the market and of the challenges and opportunities that are both present and emerging for the business. He is equipped with the professionalism and commitment to deliver results, and is passionate about maintaining a strong customer and people orientated focus,” added Mr Coers.
