NatRoad has appointed Geoff Crouch as its President, Allan Thornley as Vice President and Brett Amezdroz as Treasurer, following the Annual General Meeting that took place on 6 August during the 2011 NatRoad Conference in Townsville.
Geoff Crouch has worked as a director of NatRoad since 2007, and was previously Vice President for the association. He is also a Trustee Director of the Transport Industry Superannuation Fund, has 21 years of experience in the road freight transport industry, and has been Managing Director of Ron Crouch Transport at Wagga Wagga for the last 12 years.
He has held several community positions, including serving as Past President and a Director of the Wagga Business Chamber. He is also the Deputy Chair of the Wagga City Council Business Advisory Committee.
Allan Thornley has worked in a variety of roles based predominantly in long haul businesses. He joined Shaws Darwin Transport in 1997, where he was appointed General Manager in 2001 before being appointed Managing Director in April 2011. He joined NatRoad’s board in 2010.
Brett Amezdroz has over 27 years’ experience as owner of his family’s trucking business, which developed into the Wettenhalls Group, for which he is Executive Chairman. He joined NatRoad’s board in 2009.
