Brisbane-based rental trucks and commercial vehicles company, NationWide Hire, has announced the appointment of Grant Harrison as new Chief Executive Officer.
“Grant will be responsible for NationWide Hire’s on-going business in Australia and I am certain he will lead our staff and the company as a whole toward future growth and success,” said Martin Rasmussen, Chairman of NationWide Hire.
“Grant's extensive and active industry experience makes him superbly qualified to serve as the NationWide Hire CEO during this period of expansion.”
Harrison had previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for NationWide Hire in Brisbane before he was elevated to the CEO role in June this year.
“This is a great honour for me. NationWide Hire has a long history in meeting customers’ needs and with our strong leadership team we can continue to take advantage of the momentum we have created across Australia,” Harrison said.
“As the industries we service continue to evolve, our success will continue to be defined by a combination of great people driving great strategy and outcomes.
“NationWide Hire continues to expand its network across Australia and we are happy to announce that we have recently opened facilities in Port Hedland and Adelaide. This complements our existing network greatly and allows us to better service our national clients. We expect to make further announcements soon about future improvements and our improved network expansion.”
