National Road Transport Hall of Fame Reunion coming up

This week, Shell Australia and the National Road Transport Hall of Fame will celebrate the seventeenth annual National Road Transport Hall of Fame Reunion in Alice Springs.

The event, which Shell has been a sponsor of for the past 12 years, will see an expected 1,000 truck drivers and transport industry members travel to Alice Springs to recognise the 130 inductees of the Shell Rimula Wall of Fame who are being honoured for their lifetime of service to the transport industry on Saturday 25 August.

Gavin Corcoran, Shell Transport Marketing Manager said, “Shell is a proud, long-term sponsor of the National Road Transport Hall of Fame and in particular the Shell Rimula Wall of Fame celebrations. It is always such a great experience to come up to Alice Springs and honour the hard work and achievements of the dedicated drivers from the Australian transport sector.

“This is a particularly important sponsorship for Shell as it ensures the longevity of the road transport industry’s heritage in Australia. It also provides us with the opportunity to interact face-to-face with key transport figures and highlight our growing regional service offering and how it can support the overall industry,” he said.
