The Australian Trucking Association’s travelling road safety exhibition, the Safety Truck, has been recognised as a finalist for the prestigious 3M-ACRS Diamond Road Safety Award, presented on behalf of the Australasian College of Road Safety.
The Governor General, Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presented the certificate to Jacquelene Brotherton at a ceremony held in Melbourne last week.
The ATA Safety Truck was also a finalist for the Best Technical Achievement or Innovation category at the Australian Event Awards held recently.
According to the ATA, the Safety Truck will head to Victoria, where it will be on display at the upcoming Castlemaine Truck Show.
