Former Manager of Industrial Markets for MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, Geoff Bailey, has been appointed as regional manager for the western region. Mr Bailey commenced his new role on Monday, 2 May.
He commenced his career at MTU Detroit Diesel Australia in April 1998 and has worked held positions in sales, operations and management.
MTU Detroit Diesel Australia President and CEO, Rob Sisk, said he was looking forward to ushering a new phase of expansion in mining, oil and gas, marine, power generation, defence and on highway markets for the Western Region under Mr Bailey’s management.
“Our commitment to the west is confirmed by our increased presence in the region’s mining and resources sector, as supported by our new $35m regional head office that opened in 2010 – fully facilitating an unparalleled level of service and support to our customers,” said Mr Sisk.
“This will be bolstered by Mr Bailey’s natural affinity to the region and already established network channels to key industry stakeholders.
