Visitors to this year’s International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show have been given a first glance at MixRoadCheck, designed and developed by Mix Telematics.
The heavy fleet management solution has been in development for over 18 months and will be available in Australia in June 2014.
“MiX RoadCheck will provide operators of heavy fleets with an innovative, dynamic and flexible telematics solution to meet current and future regulatory and compliance requirements,” said Wayne Fee, Business Development Executive for MiX Telematics.
“The MiX RoadCheck tracking and monitoring platform offers a multitude of unique tracking features. Fleet operators can access key vehicle and driver data 24 hours a day in real-time, in addition to historical trip data and insightful reports. The platform gives operators complete visibility over the status of their fleet – in particular, the status in relation to compliance regulations,” said Fee.
MixRoadCheck compliments existing MiX Telematics solutions including Mix SafeDrive and brings together In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems and defensive driver training.
“The solution is focused and comprehensive. We’re confident that all businesses in this sector will benefit greatly from the safety and efficiency benefits it’s designed to deliver, including a reduction in operational and maintenance costs,” said Fee.
