Globally, the Volvo Group has announced a restructure of their truck manufacturing and distribution business. Currently divided by brand, Volvo, Renault, Mack and UD, the changes will see the company reorganised into three geographic sections. The new entities will be North and South America, secondly, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and finally Asia and the Pacific.
The reorganisation is the second initiative by Olof Persson since taking over as CEO in September. The implications for the Volvo organisation here in Australia are unclear, as yet.
