Lindsay Fox has today taken delivery of a new Volvo FH 16 600 with his personal plate – FOX001. The truck, bearing the traditional Linfox livery, was presented in Melbourne by the President of Volvo Group Australia, Peter Voorhoeve.
The FH 16 is the first of the new-model Volvos to enter the Linfox fleet as the Brisbane-based, Swedish manufacturer prepares to supply trucks into various Linfox operations around Australia.
Lindsay Fox said safety and environmental care were paramount considerations when making the purchase of the new-model Volvo. “Safety will always be the key priority for Linfox and we have complete confidence in the Volvos that will be delivered over the coming months,” he said.
Volvo Group Australia President, Peter Voorhoeve, said Linfox and Volvo Trucks had forged a strong relationship based on a shared commitment to safety and environmental care.
“We are extremely proud to partner with Linfox, who take an industry-leadership position in advocating road safety for both truck driving professionals, and other road-users,” he said.
