Isuzu Australia is continuing to reveal more features of its upcoming new model line-up to be unveiled at the Brisbane Truck Show, this time in the medium-duty space.
A range of new features form part of the new MY25 F Series range as Isuzu strives to continue its medium-duty market leadership.

Whether it be safety, performance, driver environment or vehicle operations, the new line-up ranges from 11 to 26 tonnes of GVM, with an array of engine, transmissions, suspension and wheelbase variants part of the offering.
Designed to feel more car-like, the visual features include a bold grille to distinctive headlamps and a newly engineered bumper. Full LED lighting is included alongside daytime running lamps and LED interiors, while the FRR and FSR models have headlamps integrated into the cab and the larger FV and F Series 4×4 models receive bumper-mounted lamps.
When it comes to safety, the F series includes active safety features that have been added to Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS.
A comprehensive baseline safety suite contains up to 12 active and passive systems, all informed by Isuzu’s ADAS camera technology, including lane departure warning, traffic movement warning, attention assist warning and adaptive driving beam (except for 4×4 models).
The ADAS camera works with the millimetre radar for combined functions including distance warning systems and advanced emergency brake systems.
Another critical focus of the global launch of Isuzu’s new range is a raft of cabin comfort features across every model.
Be it the brand-new ergonomic ISRI 6860/875 NTS2 climate seat, a new steering wheel with integrated controls and switches, or the large driver’s multi-info display, the all-new F Series cabs are designed to be comfortable, intuitive and endorse a genuine car-like driveability.
There are now day, rest and crew cab variants, and it’s noteworthy that this release marks the first time that the roomier ‘rest’ cab has been available in 4-cylinder F Series models for the Australian market.
This provides owners and operators of select models with the option of specifying additional cab space, better suited to longer regional or intrastate runs, where more space in the cab is required for gear and equipment, or simply for a more open and accommodating space.
Based on several Australian Design Rules (ADRs), including improved emissions standards under ADR 80/04, the 2025 model range introduces cleaner and more powerful engines combined with improved torque output.
Headline news for the F Series line-up is the introduction of a new 6.7-litre Isuzu DB6A engine, co-developed with Cummins, helping to expand opportunities across medium and heavy-duty segments.
Built in Isuzu’s Tochigi Engine Plant in Japan and available in 260 PS (191kW) and 300 PS (221kW) ratings, this unique Isuzu collaboration eliminates the need for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), meaning fewer maintenance requirements, improved combustion efficiency and fuel economy.
Both engine variants are mated exclusively with Allison 6-speed Gen Six automatic transmissions and meet Euro-VI emissions standards via a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Diesel Particulate Diffuser (DPD) combination.
The F series Care package involves a six-year factory warranty and 24/7 roadside assist for the same period of time.
With its MY25 F Series release, Isuzu Australia says its medium-duty trucking solution is more compelling than ever, offering more operational flexibility, efficiency, safety and comfort, whatever the application may be.
