A contract has been awarded to Abigroup to build the 9.5km Holbrook Bypass. This stretch of road represents the last piece of the jigsaw in creating a continuous four-lane highway all the way from Sydney to Melbourne on the Hume Highway.
Work on the Holbrook upgrade is expected to begin in April 2011 and is scheduled for completion by mid 2013.
