Kleenheat Gas has agreed to the sale of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distribution businesses in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, ACT and Tasmania to Elgas Limited.
The sale agreement includes Kleenheat’s customer and supplier lists, contracts and assets associated with the company’s LPG distribution business in these states.
The sale is subject to clearance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which is expected to take several months.
Kleenheat Gas’ LPG business in Western Australia (WA) and the Northern Territory, its national LNG operations, and its natural gas and electricity businesses in WA are not part of the sale, and no
consideration is being given to sell these parts of the business.
Kleenheat Gas will continue to operate as normal during the sale process.
