Transport and logistics company, Kings Group, has added a new UD GW 26 420 Quon truck to its South Australian haulage fleet.
According to Kings, the UD Quon was acquired in October to help increase the capacity and flexibility of the fleet and has been fitted with a Hiab 166ES Hi Duo crane with a 14m reach.
“The cab-over design was chosen due to its short overall chassis length, which has an integrated ADR spec sleeper bunk and the ability to mount the Hiab crane behind,” the company said.
“With the low overall prime mover length it has the capacity to tow our largest trailer and the vehicle remain under 19m in length. The ability to carry up to 14.5m without needing to operate under the oversized gazette limitations allows for long loads to be carried at any time throughout the day or night, providing greater service options to our customers.”
