As part of an aggressive growth strategy, Kings Transport & Logistics has bought Sydney courier, freight and fleet services company Forum Transport.
The renowned company has operated in NSW for 16 years providing transport service in the Sydney metropolitan area. Recently it has expanded its services across the eastern seaboard. Currently, Forum employs 120 people providing metropolitan courier, taxi truck and permanent vehicle services.
“Forum’s unique service offering consists of identical vehicle design and fit-out providing the customer base with unprecedented levels of consistent freight movements,” says Managing Director Scott Peacock. “These points of difference will provide tremendous opportunities for additional organic growth across Australasia.”
The name Forum is well regarded within the industry and will strengthen the size and stature of the Kings Group, which announced it will pursue acquisitive growth opportunities during 2011.
Forum will continue to trade as Forum Transport and operate out of its Seven Hills location over the short to medium term timeframe.
